I'm 12 weeks pregnant. I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant. I started having horrible all day morning sickness so after going to the doctor a few times I had zofran prescribed. I started taking that and it help keep food and liquids down but it made me so constipated and I was still so nauseous.

After comparing both marijuana and the zofran I decided I rather take a few hits before I eat and go to bed than take these pills all day.

Anybody else using weed for morning sickness?

I really do think that smoking it during pregnancy isn't a good thing. Combustion produces carbon monoxide. The levels produced may not be of particular worry to adults but it would take a lot to convince me that introducing carbon monoxide to the fetus at any level should be avoided as much as is humanly possible. But it's easy enough to avoid smoking cannabis as there are at least half a dozen delivery methods which don't require smoking.

The vaporizer is proven safe, less expensive, and preferred by the study's subjects by a margin of 7:1 in peer reviewed research published in 2007. No carbon monoxide or other nasty byproducts of smoking are produced when the vaporizer is set at the optimal temperature.

I think, especially if you tolerate it well when not pregnant, it is a better, and safer choice than zofran.
