Nipple stimulation worked well for me.
My midwife rubbed castor oil on my cervix during my first labor that was very slow to start. It pulls the blood to the area. After that my labor actually kicked into gear.

Oxytoxin is the released by the brain which brings on labour. It is also the hormone of love and it is released during sexual stimulation, if you get my drift.
