I like unusual and unique names, but not too frilly or difficult  My husband wants an Indian name.  Here are some finalists of names that are used in India.  Please tell me if you favor any of them.  This is for a girl.

Shailu (shay-loo)

Sundari

Layla

Shanali or Shanalee. Does it sound redneck-y?

FYI I have started to lean away from Layla because I feel it's too common and will be dated quickly but it's not entirely decided.

I love Sundari. Shanalee does sound a little southern, don't know if it's rednecky per se, but it doesn't sound as exotic as some of the others. Good luck choosing smile.gif
