I found out I was pregnant a couple weeks ago and its my first pregnancy.
Can anyone tell me do's and don'ts of pregnancy? And any helpful advice with pregnancy symptoms would be great! Morning sickness is super bad for me and I've tried everything!

Congrats GamestopBelle!!!!

For morning sickness I find keeping a small amount of healthy protein in your system at all times helps, as does ginger, sea sickness bands and just listening to your body.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with some more info!

Sucking on lemon, lime and/or mint lozenges can help.  Always keep your tummy full.  Protein is great.  I ate a lot of greek yogurt.  Citrus fruits are also good.  The first trimester eat whatever stays down if you are vomiting often.  Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.  Other than that, take it easy and rest when you need to.  Congratulations on your pregnancy!  joy.gif

Congrats! In addition to the above, I found a protein shake right before bed would help me stay asleep and curb that instant rush of stomach acid first thing in the morning. A general "do" is listen to your body, don't fight it. Take naps or rest when you are tired.

My wife (30) and I (32) have been legally married since 2006. We are proud queer mamas to baby W, born 10/10/2013.
