My uterus became very tight and uncomfortable about two hours ago and has remained tight since. I went to the grocery store during this time and it was uncomfortable to walk and seemed to make my uterus feel even tighter.  I'm not having regular contractions, so I can't time them.  Rather, my uterus is remaining VERY tight.  In addition, I'm having low back pain, I felt "wet" but I think it was just discharge because it didn't smell like amniotic fluid or urine, and my feet are swelling ONLY when I am standing.  Ideas?

Background info:  I'm 34.  This is baby #5.  Baby #1 was a Cesarean and the other 3 were UC's.  I've never had issues with preterm labor.  Baby is active.  Blood pressure is fine.

Should I be concerned?

I have that a lot. It helps to drink lots of water and rest. It just sounds like Braxton hicks contractions. Give your doc or midwife a call just in case. :-)
