Have you searched the forums?  This topic has come up a lot.  My understanding is that it depends on the hospital and the practice.  That being said, in NYS with private insurance I still signed a waiver at my prenatal appointments that allowed my doctor to test my urine for drugs.  It's pretty standard.  And as far as I know, at least a few of the samples were in fact tested.  This may or may not help you.

As far as a few hits go, if you're worried about post-birth testing of the baby, again my limited understanding is that a small amount like that would be unlikely to show up in tests and even if it did show up in a test, they are unlikely to do anything about it.  But again, there are extensive threads relating to this issue if you search for "drug testing" in the pregnancy forum.

I don't know the specific answer to your question, but I have a friend who had a traumatic birth experience, and the hospital tested her as part of an emergency c-section.  She came up positive for pot, then CPS came in and it was hell on earth for her.  Just something to think about.
