Are you feeling any symptoms yet?   I have been testing every day, watching the line get darker but I can't do that forever unfortunately.  I guess I'll try to rely on symptoms so I can taper off my testing.  :)

I made my first appointment, too!  Actually it's more like an interview, since I haven't met this particular midwife before.

Yes, I think Christmas time makes sense to tell people... I wonder if I can hold out that long.  I want to tell everyone!!  :love

Thanks!! orngbiggrin.gif I was going to wait until the weekend to test, but after gagging while putting a diaper in the pail, I figured maybe I'd do a test tonight :P
I'm due around the 4th but if this baby's like my DD, she'll probably arrive on the 11th or so....

I just tested this morning.  It looks like I'm due sometime in mid-July.  I can't find my calendar with the exact dates, but it's somewhere around the 15th.  Very excited there are July mamas around already!

Does anyone want to volunteer to be the group leader of the July 2014 DDC with me?  I think we need two volunteer leaders.

I'm due on the 15th! I just found out today. I spent months weaning down on my bipolar meds, and, after consulting with a specialist, decided to stay on low doses of 2 of them. I am 40 and taking progesterone for luteal support. I took it with my pregnancy with my son 10 years ago and carried him to term after 3 other losses.

My DP and I are very happy, and I am also worried about risk factors.

Still, once we started actually ttc, I got pregnant very quickly. That has to be a good sign, right? :-)

Congratulations, Mamas! I look forward to getting to know all of you on this journey.

Ah! My people! I got 2 + on the 28th but they were so faint and showed up so late (technically within the testing window, though) that I wouldn't get my hopes up. As of today, the line was significantly darker and showed up faster. So, wonderful! It is just now beginning to sink in. :shy

--As far as symptoms, they have been much more subtle and PMS-like than my first pregnancy, to the point that I absolutely believed I was not pregnant. Contrast that with my first baby, when I KNEW I was pregnant even when I was still getting negatives.

I'm so excited for the DDC to open! What exactly does being a group leader entail? Sometimes I have spells where I am do not even have net access, so I'm not sure if it's something I can do. In any case, I hope it  opens soon. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Being a group leader is pretty minimal.  You just accept new members if it's a closed group (which ours wouldn't be).  You don't moderate the boards or anything.  It mostly just a title thing so they have people to get the group going, as far as I can tell.

Let me know if anyone is interested!

We're due *sometime in July* -- dates are a little tricky this time as I'm BF our 7.5-month-old, was having 17-day cycles, and then BAM - nothing. Sooo....yes. :joy

I may consider being a moderator for July 2014.....just be forewarned that I'm not constantly attached to the internet - I do have a life away from the outside world. :eyesroll

ETA: I'm not available for nights or weekends - that's specifically family time.

I'm due July 12th with #4! smile.gif dying to tell everyone but more cautious then I normally would be as this is my first pregnancy since having a miscarriage in Feb. Symptom wise I'm peeing a ton already, insanely hot, starving when I wake up and feeling a little nauseous from time to time.

Who else is already having symptoms?  I can't tell if I'm actually having symptoms or just recovering from a really stressful round of traveling and then work.  I was super sweaty today, which seemed a little odd and I've been having really tiny bursts of nausea, but they don't last long enough for me to be sure they're not in my head.  I'm really hoping I can get my exercise and diet under control again after my travels in the next week or two before the real first trimester gross-ness kicks in.  I'm only about 3-4 weeks (due July 15) and I can't remember when I started having symptoms last time, but it wasn't until 6-7 weeks I think.

Hi everyone ! I got my first bfp over a week ago and have been practically pacing the floors waiting for the DDC to open lol. I have my first visit with a midwife Friday and just according to an online calculator my edd is July 9th (two days after dh's birthday!) This is our first and happened easily after a very stressful last year of dealing with uterine fibroids and possible surgery which would have meant an increased c-section rate, recovery time, etc. So needless to say we are over the moon happy right now. I haven't really had any symptoms beyond just a bit of nipple soreness but got an immediate dark bfp today so I guess everything is still good. The biggest congrats and well wishes to all of you and Im looking forward to getting to know you!

Yes, I feel like I am pacing around waiting for the group to open, too. :) My only "symptoms" are things that could also just be natural variations in preference (for instance, suddenly wanting to eat meat at every meal) or just in my head (fleeting moments of nausea, peeing more often some days, emotional wreckage!). This wouldn't bother me if I hadn't had such clear symptoms with my first, before the + even started showing up. I have one more test lying around, so I think I'll be taking it in the morning just to see what's going on.

Hi, again.  I can't shake feelings of concern.  I got my BFP at 9 days dpo, and was thrilled.  I am 40, and I did have 3 losses before my 9.5 year old DS.  I spoke to the doctor, a well regarded maternal-fetal medicine specialist, on Saturday, and he was talking about the possibilities of chemical pregnancies, etc...

Also, he raised my progesterone from 100 mg to 400 mg!  It is divided into twice/day, but a bit after I take it, I am wiped out for a while.  I am not safe to drive (I even needed a ride home from the grocery this weekend and left my car), and really can hardly stay awake.  It has to be twice/day, and I can't afford to be hit by it during work, so, today I am going to try taking it 30 minutes before leaving the office, and then waking at around 3:00 a.m. for the second dose.

Aside from stuff from the progesterone, I thought I was getting more symptoms, such as nausea, but now I don't think I am, which worries me.  Plus, what if the low dose of the bipolar meds I'm still on cause something bad to happen (yes, it is with the doctor's ok, but...).

I will be going for a quantitative hcg test at the end of the week.  Then, on December 6th, we get our first ultrasound...checking for "viability."  I want my baby (babies? for some reason, I can't get the possibility of twins out of my head) to be okay.  At the moment, I am a worried mama.

Thank you for reading.  My dp is very supportive and very much wants this, but he is not very concerned and he also sees early pregnancy different that I do.

I also tried red raspberry leaf tea, and felt a bunch of contractions for a while, so I am going to wait to try that again.  Should I have a plain nettle tea, do you think?

As you can see, my thoughts are all over the place, but very much orbiting the life in my uterus.

- Kittymom

Kittymom, I'm sure a lot of us can relate to the worry.  It is really hard having so little control over this.  Did taking the bigger dose work out OK with you at work today so far?

ugh, Kittymom, that sucks about the progesterone.  I didn't know it had that effect, but I guess it makes sense.

And congrats, cluelessLily!  We have sort of matching names!

It looks like my EDD is around July 15th, though technically July 13 because I have a shorter cycle.  I'm fine with the later date though for maternity leave reasons, etc.  I have my daughter's 15 month appointment tomorrow, so I'll ask my doctor any questions then and I'll probably call our midwifery group this week to make an appointment for around 9 weeks.  Any other plans yet?

Hi Mamas!! I have an edd of 7.10. This will be baby number 4 for us. We have three girls who will be 7,5, and just turned 3 when baby arrives. I don't know if I am hoping for a boy or not. I know girls, and adding a boy to the mix freaks me out a little bit. ;)

We actually thought we were done having kiddos, but apparently plans have changed. I am 38 years old and I went through a miscarriage in April of this year, so I am a little gun shy this time around.

Can't wait to get to know you all!! And wishing you all wonderful and healthy pregnancies!

I'm due July 10th! My first pregnancy! I can't believe I found a forum for July 2014 moms :-)

We found out on Halloween and I already met with my midwife :-) I'm so excited! I'd like to be able to tell everyone by Christmas!
