I have used and loved hemp for some time.  I knew most of that.  But, having grown up in metro Detroit, Henry Ford was a huge influence over the area.  I never knew he made a hemp car.  That's really neat.

Wow, I had no idea hemp was so sustainable: able to aerate the ground with its deep roots and able to be composted right back into the field for nutrients.

I was hesitant to try hemp diapers with my first because I'd been told they might hold odor... after reading this article I think that warning is unfounded! I was really interested to learn that hemp is naturally pest and fungus resistant.

hemp also helps alleviate deforestation problems and grows much more quickly than trees!

I knew hemp was more absorbent but I did not know that it does not require any herbicides, etc to grow. That is just great for the environment!~

I love the hemps I already have and would love more.  I learned that hemp fibers were used in car bodies for added strength.  Cool!

This is an amazing giveaway. I already knew hemp was an amazing plant and knowing that Babykicks uses it for their cloth diapers is great because as we learned above hemp is 4x more absorbent, and 3x stronger than cotton.  These would help keep my newborn dry once she arrives in mid May 2014. Thanks Mothering for always providing great information and links to wonderful companies like these.

Liked all three, and I love the low impact it takes to grow hemp and w/out any chemicals, not to mention all the uses for this fiber, even the oil!
