So I got a blood test done at the local emergency room and they did the quantitive. First they said negative, 5 minutes later they said they diluted the blood and it showed a level of 100. I'm 14 days dpo but have had BFNs until they said the word "positive." Should I be worried that this may be a chemical pregnancy? I get retested Friday to check if the levels went up... praying this is gonna be an actual full term pregnancy. Any help/advice is needed..

I don't think this would be indicative of a chemical pregnancy. 100 is a great number. I would be concerned about their testing though. It seems weird that they said negative and then positive 5 minutes later. They say it's not the number but the doubling. I would wait to see what the next test says. That will be more informative. I hope everything goes perfectly!

Yeah, the doctor said the lab ran it two ways so things were all confusing but he said that I was pregnant. What worried me is he said he's never seen a number so low, but after researching I think he doesn't know about pregnancy too well. I just pray my numbers double by Friday. :/ I'm a nervous wreck!

In the emergency room, they probably aren't as knowledgeable unfortunately. My first beta was 62 at 13DPO and everything was fine. I hope the next day passes quickly!

I just wonder why my home pregnancy tests are still negative.. I'm 2 days past missing AF. No bleeding or cramping so I don't think I miscarried. At least I hope not. Hopefully they say my hcg went up and didn't just disappear. :/ tomorrow needs to hurry! But thank you for your responses. They give me a glimpse of hope.

I'm very sorry RaynesMommy! That is so hard. I had a chemical pregnancy before having my son. Take care. I send you healing thoughts and hugs.
