Boy or girl? No idea about welsh/gaelic ones, we used Louise and considered Lauren, pronounced with the accent on the 2nd syllable (like ralph lauren.)

Lauren Is great, and worth serious consideration if it weren't for my other daugter's middle name being Wren. :/

Open to more suggestions! I'm desperate, so the Welsh/Gaelic criteria is no longer so relevant. Oh, and for a girl.

(Thanks for the bump)

I liked Sabrina when looking at names. If I remember correctly it has irish origins something about a river. Good luck in your search!

When we were looking for a name with a second syllable accent, we found that most one syllable names worked as well.

It seems that maybe French names might more commonly have an accent on the second syllable. So far, I have thought of Michelle, Rochelle, Cherie, and Margot.
