I loooove Avery.

If we have a girl she will be either Brea (pronounced Breeya) or Breale (pronounced Bree-Elle)

I love Ivy and other botanicals like Lily (my dd), Rowan, Daisy, etc...

Also, I love Elle (she in French). I think it's classy.

On another thread in our due date club we're talking about "name rules" and I guess from this list I would stay away from names that the kid always has to spell.....

You picked some GREAT ones!

Me : living with and loving papa and the kids: Dd1 8/97 , dd2 8/04 and my sweet baby ds 5/09 : :

We are going to name this next baby Zoe Isabella. We liked Madison (Madi), but couldn't figure out a middle name.

Araceli is beautiful, or better yet Aracelia. (nickname can be Arcie?)

Trinity goes nicely with the sound of your 2 other girls' names, though.

You know when you were a teenager and you had your baby girls' name picked out?? Well my first choice was always Sage. I still like it but for some reason...
When pregnant with my son I had chosen the name Mina Soliel. I like the name Soliel as a middle name. Someone on A Baby Story a long time ago named her daughter Sole (pronounded "Soul-lee") and I believe the meaning is "sun" just like soliel. I just can't remember where it was derived from. I kind of liked that but knew I'd have to spell it differently or everyone would pronounce it wrong.
Well now I *am* pregnant with a girl and her name will be Shea. I thought that was pretty cut and dry but then I had someone ask if it was pronounced "She-ah". Her explanation was because it was a girl, so a "she". Creative interpretation!
I suppose someone will always screw up your kids' name anyway so do what you want
Oh, my husband wants the middle name to be Trinity. I'm not sure about it but that will probably be it. Trinity means 3, this is my third child... I guess I can hang with it. I just have to put my own meaning into it. My dad also reminded me about the holy Trinity. ---> not that religious lol!!!
My son's name is Tristan and I've since figured out that the name Shea goes nicely with Tristan! (Tristan Shea). So you could have a girl Tristan Shea, or a boy Tristan Shea although it would sound pretty feminine. On the name sites it says Shea is either unisex or male. Not that I take that completely seriously but I thought it was interesting.
Good luck!
Karen

Soleil does mean Sun in French - but only if you spell it soleil. That's a great name. That was also the girl who played "Punky Brewster's" name - Soleil-Moon Frye. Sole means sun in Italian, as I recall.

Here are a few more ideas:

Willa Rose
Silja (sil-ya) Laine - Silja is scandinavian
Runa Lene (Lay-na) - Runa is Norwegian, means secret lore

Have fun deciding

My favourite name is Meredith.

I got outvoted for this child coming up if it's a girl but it's still my favourite name!

(by the way, Ainsley is another favourite name, and my name is Beth, though I am an Elizabeth not a Bethany... I think you're doing very well naming your children!)

My 2 girls are Nina and Natalie! Love Nina. It is familiar, yet not common, and not likely to be misspelled.

I love Michaela (pronounced "Mikayla", but several spellings which makes it an issue if the spelling thing bothers you, as it does me)and Gabrielle.

Trinity was the name of the test site where the first atomic bomb was detonated in 1945. Is this really a popular girl's name nowadays?

We're planning on naming dd Eleanor Grace and calling her Ella or Ellie. Our second choice was Kyra Grace. So, we'll just have to wait until we meet her to decide!!

Amy - Trinity's new popularity seems to have less to do with religion or atomic bombs, than it does with the character in the film The Matrix. The spike in popularity is timed with it.

See, I had no idea it was a nuclear testing site or a character in The Matrix, there is a little girl who sometimes goes to our playgroup named Trinity. Also, there is the religious aspect I was thinking about.

I don't have much advice for you, because I'm pretty hopeless at coming up with names. It's HARD!

If this babe were a girl it would be Delilah, Dylan, or Cassidy. So, I really like Lila. I also like Rory and Skye is my dd's middle name so I like that too.

This naming babies thing is difficult.

Amy, mom to LadyBug, SnuggleBug and StinkBug.  Expecting BabyBug in August 2011.

I really REALLY like Emma, but I think it's too popular.
We decided on Emma for a girl's name but I think we are changing it.
Maybe Emma as a middle name (my great-grandma who is 92 is named Emma)
I dunno.
*sigh*

The name we picked for our little girl on the way is Marisol. It is the only name DH and I could both agree upon. But every time we tell a new family member the name, we get the same response, "what was that?" "say that again?" "can you spell it for me?"

Is it that out there? We think it is beautiful!
