TMI: I ovulated last weekend and since then, I have had 2 or 3 days of excessive, creamy CM. It's some what dry today, but still there. I never usually have CM post ovulation, and if I do, it's just a little. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance and I apologize for the TMI.

There's never TMI in the pregnancy forum!!!! :LOL

Excessive creamy CM is a sign of postpones ovulation, pregnancy, impending period, and nothing at all. Take your pick!

Hope you are though!!!!

Sometimes I would have this. Once I thought it meant I was pg, but then I realized I have this about half the time before my period starts. It's a sign that your progesterone is still high, really that's all. Since progesterone being high could mean pregnancy, it could be that, or it could be that your hormones just haven't gone down enough for your period to start yet. Watch to see if you have other pg symptoms. With this pgcy, I didn't have extra CM til several weeks into it. And it's not EW or Creamy, it's just watery.

thanks, mamas. you're the best. i get confused--I have that Toni Weschler book, and she makes it out that post ovulation cm is a problem. But just last month, I had all my hormones tested, an u/s, and everything came back normal.

For me, creamy/watery cm post ovulation was the first sign I was pregnant. My panties always felt wet and I kept thinking my period was starting early.
