I'm currently pregnant w/our second baby (a girl, our first was our ds who is now 6 yo!) and our best friend is having a shower for us.

I have quite a few girls clothes from my sister, but still need some premie/newborn clothes and a friend gave us tons of cloth diapers/wraps. But I have given most of my "baby" things away.

What are some things on your list? Help me brainstorm!

Thanks~

Lisa

I couldnt live without my "boppy" thing.....that horseshoe shaped pillow that you wrap around your waist for nursing. rests your arms, and helped me with shoulder fatigue.

If i had to do it again, i would definitely want a sling.

How about food? Meals in the freezer are always handy when you have a new baby.
Maybe a couple of months of diaper service. One less thing to worry about during that time.

someone to clean the damn house! if you don't have a relative willing to do it, then someone should buy you some time with a local service. i know all i did that first month was nurse, and the house went to hell until my friend's mom came to stay with us.

ok, some of these links have ideas for cool baby showers, but damned if i can recall which one!
www.apbabyshop.com
www.attachments catalog.com
www.mamamoon.com
www.jacksmagicbeanstalk.com

it's hurting me to post that last link, because there's a couple things i REALLY want from her, but we are so poor that i have been returning christmas presents for grocery money, so there's no way i can do any shopping right now. so better to share this aweseom link so some other momma can benefit and the WAHM can make some $, right?
