The whole family (3 kids and dad), except me -so far-, is sick with a bad cold. Fairly high fevers(that are lasting a couple days), runny noses and watery eyes, and basic exhausted misery. I'm in my 1st trimester and you always read about how you're not supposed to raise your body temp. too much with hot baths, or too much exertion, so I'm thinking a two day fever (or all the Tylenol I'd need to take to keep it down) wouldn't be good either.

I'm looking for any suggestions of what's safe to do during the 1st trimester to keep colds/fever at bay?
Are semi-high doses of Vit. C okay for a couple days or not?
If I do get a fever, is that okay? Should I call the midwife? Is it okay to take Tylenol for a couple days? How high of a fever would be dangerous?

Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions!
