The nurse said my hcg level was 21,900+. She said that was good. We are going to draw blood Friday and see if the #s have doubled. If they have, HOORAY!!!!!

I had similar spotting at 6 weeks, and the dr's office thougth it was just probably implantation bleeding that kind of got "stuck" up there (not to be gross!). Plus, I think most normal people probably wouldn't have even noticed it, but you know, I'm an obsessive worrier.

Hopefully you are doing better now, but just in case.... I too spotted from about 8 weeks until about 12 weeks. Would go from icky red to nasty brown and was real mucousy (sp?). I went to my OB freaking out (we have no MW around here). He says that it is "old" stuff in my uterus from previous birth, endometriosis, etc.. that the baby is pushing out as the placenta grows. Made sense to me. Anyway, it lessened each day, and has actually stopped completely now (I am 20w). He called it Sub-chorionic (sp?) bleeding. HTH.
