tried all the usual tricks to get back to asleep

only succeeded in getting itchy and frustrated

hot night, mosquitos are out hunting, ds2 is hogging the bed and I can't pick him up to shift him over

woe is me

why do pregnancy and sleeplessness go together? oh that's right, nature's way of getting us accustomed to interrupted sleep what a heap of cr@p, nature's way of destroying the last chances of a decent sleep before a few more years of interrupted sleep, great joke

I'm feeling very cross indeed

5 am, I guess I'll give up and say the day has begun

I can't sleep either. Wake up about every 1-2 hours. No advice, just sympathy for you

I've been taking a calcium/magnesium supplement. It has really helped me sleep.

yep, also taking magnesium with my calcium

of course after deciding to get up for the day I dozed off for 30 minutes on the couch just at the right time for ds1 to miss hearing his alarm clock so he was in tears racing for his bus

woe, woe, this day has got to get better - well there's about to be an interview on the radio with Sheila Kitzinger, that's got to be good
