We are trying to decide on a middle name for a boy. Last name is Schatz-Allison. If it is a Girl it will definitely be Sylvia Ingrid ( DH's great grandmother-Sylvia, plus it means "of the forest" and Ingrid is my dear dear sister's 1st name & my mom's middle name ). We are into family names. Our Sonh is Hugh Callum Schatz-Allison. Share your feedback, as we are not telling any family of friends our choices until after the birth (we don't want THEIR feedback!) .

I agree with Sheacoby, go with Robert - what a special thing to do! If we ever have a boy, his middle name will be Gunnar (my dad's first name). I actually made dh agree to this before we got married...

I voted Robert too. I think it sounds nice and has a great significance. Just wanted to tell what a gorgeous name Sylvia Ingrid is for a girl, I just love it!

i like 'em both.
why don't you take them both with you when the baby is born and then make your decision after 'meeting' him. (if it is a him)

for the record I like Loughlin the best, but the meaning behind Robert is very cool.
