I find out this afternoon whether I'm November or December. I know when I conceived, but since my cycle is so irregular I don't really have a good estimate of how far along I am. I'm not looking forward to being pregnant thru the summer again but I suppose it's too late for that
Hello! Welcome all new Dec moms! I'm due at the end of Nov/beg of December. We'll see! 6 1/2 weeks- time is going by soooo slow! I can't wait to really show!!
Welcome December Mammas!!! I hope you have fun with us all as your bellies start to grow, and grow and grow. DH and DD just picked me up from work a while ago and took me out to lunch then brought me back to work. How sweet! Tuesdays are their day at home together.
-Julie
I am measuring 7wks 3 days, both crown to rump length and gest sac length. That puts my EDD at 11/22! My next appt is May 6. We saw a good heartbeat and a neural tube (the beginnings of a spine), which is really good this early. There is only one in there, thank goodness! And doc assured me there was nothing to be so worried about... Nurse predicts a boy, because baby is sitting on the yolk sac. She said most girls seem to have the yolk above their heads instead - Jenny did in her first u/s.
Stafl-I'm so glad your appointment went well. November 22 is my edd too!
Well, I can't stand to have anything touching my stomach. My pants still fit but I just can't handle wearing them. In fact, I am sitting here in my robe right now because I threw a little fit and stripped my clothes off.
I'm due on December 8! I found out a little over a week ago. In that time I've gone through the entirety of my emotional repetoire! Gotta love those hormones!
: I've had enough morning sickness to know it's there, but not enough to actually throw up. Unfortunately, I also got the rest of my family's cold. So, while I watch them all take wonderful cold medicines, I sip my hot tea and use saline drops.
I've also "grown" about two pant sizes in the last week!
I'm running out of pants really quickly! Unfortunately, I don't really look pregnant, just fat!
I can't wait until I get that lovely, round belly! That was my favorite part of pregnancy the first time.
Well, just got back from my doctor. He say's I'm about 6 weeks along or so. We'll have an u/s friday to determine "exactly" Our guesstimate right now is Dec. 7
He worried me a little though. Says my spleen feels a bit enlarged so that will be checked out friday as well, by u/s. He also said my thyroid is a bit enlarged. I know that's bad so I'm pretty scared right now. I go in for blood work tomorrow morning. I'm praying nothing is wrong. Other than that he says everything looks good.
I'm already pooching to the point I'm uncomfortable in my pants so I wear alot of sweatpants right now. I'll have to go out and buy some pants and shorts with elastic in them. I can't stand anything even slightly restricting on my belly. Nausea has been horrid! I was expecting it though, had it from day one till the day I delivered with both my girls. Not quite as bad this time, maybe it's a boy! Can't wait to have that round belly either, although my favorite part of pregnancy is feeling the baby move.
No more spotting here Aurora!!! Yes i am feeling so much better, I told my sisiter this morning that I dont feel pregger. I am over the nausea part woohoo
I have to go to the dr again on the 24th, I get my ultrasound that day. As of right now they say I am due Nov 14th so I am 9 weeks along
I am sure after the ultrasound it will change.
Maybe this time they will get to hear teh heart beat Last time i was to early to hear it
Well lasdies have a great day It is nice and Sunny here today about 85 So i am taking kids to the park,
This is a little crazy, but I was so excited last night - I went for a walk with DH and DS and found my first ever Rattlesnake.... it had been injured, and I didn't want it just lying there in the road, after watching some guys jump and dance around trying to pick the darn thing up - I stepped in and took over. (I had to use my foot to gently hold the head down - couldn't find a stick, and then I picked it up by the rattle) I moved it to a grassy spot over the fence, it probably did die, but at least he wasn't in the middle of the road anymore.
I just confirmed yesterday that I am pregnant with #2 (DD will be 2 on 5/11). Due date will be December 13th but I think it may really be a few days earlier.
This pregnancy is sooo different in that I am already nauseousuke and tired. Last time I didn't have these symptons until 7 or 8 weeks.
I am using it as a good excuse to take a nap with dd everyday!
I had a moment of panic about the pregnancy because we will be moving cross country right in the middle of it and dh will have to change jobs. I am having insurance coverage fears and changing Dr/midwife fears! But I now have a good recommendation for a midwife in my new town so I am calming down a bit
Sherri ~ sending good vibes your way and hoping this spleen issue resolves quickly for you
I'm due Dec, I think? Oh, I never pay any attention to a due date so when baby is ready...
I think my massive fatigue is lifting a bit as I enter week 7. I've had absolutely no sore breasts so DS' nursing every hour to two hours is fine. I'm grateful for that.
I'm still measuring around 13 weeks. So I can't hide the pregnancy like I wanted to until I'm really 13 weeks along.
Looking forward to hearing all about everyone's pregnancies!
Went to the Dr. today, I have to get my tests and stuff done there due to insurance... They did a quick ultrasound and we saw the heartbeat and that there really is something in there! Maybe now I won't be so anxious all the time... lol
I am really looking forward to the fatigue going away... I am tired of being tired. My tummy is suddenly pooching out, too. I am sure it's mostly just gas and whatnot, but geez! I don't think the other two were like this, 'course it was a long time ago so who knows!
Yesterday I had my first whole day of no nausea!YAY!I'm not planning on calling my midwife for another month or two and most of you alredy had u/s!I'm feeling like a slowpoke
Im due sometime in the beginning of Dec. Don't have a Dr appt until may 5.. so I'll be alittle more sure by then.
I'm very nervous as I m/c'd in dec... my 4th... and am now officially 39... but all I can do is trust mother nature and my body... haven't told my 2 boys yet.. after m/c in dec. 2 yo went around for about a month saying "baby dead? baby dead?" so I thought maybe this time we could hold off telling them awhile
Been sicker than a dog the last two days, having all that blood drawn yesterday didn't help matters any. They drew blood to test for Thyroid problems, I'm such a worrywart, that's probably half my problem right now. I'm scared to death something is wrong. I never had any problems at all with my first two, other than extreme nausea they were both uneventful pregnancies. I'm just trying to rest as much as I can (with a 2 yr old you can imagine how much that is) and attempting to eat and drink plenty of water. I'm going to call the dr. tomorrow if I don't hear something today. I have to find out something, this is making me crazy!
I hope all your blood work comes back with nothing to worry about Sherri. I am a total hormonal mess today. DH is working on his PhD and just got bad news yesterday about his progress. He has been stressed about the outcome of this work which has fed over on to me and I am just a mess now. He is NOT leaving the country for 5 weeks for research, as planned. i should be ecstatic that he will be home with me and DD but I just feel mopey instead. I am getting ready to go have a large icecream for lunch (I rarely eat dairy- but I need an icecream fix!)
I posted on the last Dec. mammas thread - thanks BAU3 -last week. Since then I am starting to feel a bit more emotionally connected to baby - it was such a shock. I still struggle w/ how to work it with my little one now - I see other of you have wee ones - maybe we can share ideas.
That uke petty much describes how I feel these days. And Ds is into a nursing marathon - so I am keeping things low key and eating whenever I can to keep energy up. At least i know this uncomfortable phase will pass with the first trimester and I can be my energetic self that Ds is used to.
7 weeks now...feeling very tired. A little queasy off and on, but no vomiting. Eggs are definitely a culprit. Seems like bananas and carbs are good for me right now!
Feeling pretty "poochy", wearing some loose jumpers and keeping my pants unbuttoned at work. My boobs are NOT sore...but seem a little fuller to me. Yeah! I'm sooo flat anyway!
Cannot wait until my u/s next Tuesday!! I never saw a hearbeat last pg (m/c) and I've been extremely worried and nervous about this pregnancy. I understand what you are feeling BEC!
I love the m/s guy...hope I don't have to use it!!!
BAU3 ~ I just wanted to send some good vibes your way
Frogertgrl~ I knew you were pregnant but didn't know you were due at the end of the year. Well, maybe this will give us something to focus on besides the war
and the activism board
It's funny, about 90% of my posts at MDC are in activism, now maybe posting in I'm Pregnant will help chnge those stats :LOL
Okay, question for all of you? What works best for you to help with morning sickness? I need some advice as my first pregnancy involved little morning sickness.
