It seems that so many women begin to have bladder issues with after the first pregnancy. Should I just expect to have this issue. I NEVER had it with the first pregnancy(knock wood), and now on my 2nd pregnancy, I still have been able to hold it very well with these mondo sneezes I've been having. Of course I am still early on and baby is small, but I've never been one to leak pee. So who here is past their 2nd pregnancy and still has good bladder control?

I'm 34 weeks with my third and I've NEVER had any incontinence issues. However, even if you do it generally clears up after pregnancy, so don't sweat it if it happens to you!!!!

I'm on my 3rd pregnancy and haven't ever had any real issues. At the very end of my 2nd pregnancy occasionally if I sneezed I would leak a little pee, but it wasn't too big a deal and it went away as soon as I had the baby. I did gain alot though and he was right on my bladder. So far I'm not having any problems with this pregnancy and I don't anticipate any major lasting incontinence.

I think it depends on your individual urinary tract system. If you have never had bladder issues and you have good bladder control, I think most likely you won't have any problems. But if you are one of those people with a lousy bladder anyways and tend to pee on yourself when laughing hard, you might have to worry about it. Kegals are good to strengthen your pelvic floor.

On number two and no bladder issues either time! My friend was just telling me how she had issues with both of her pregnancies but they resolved themselves once she gave birth.

24 weeks along with my 2nd and I'm doing just fine I couldn't stop the pee midstream for about a month after dd was born, but I think that's pretty normal. And I never had any problems keeping it from coming out in the first place - so I never wet myself or anything. Just once I let it start when I was on the toilet I couldn't stop it.

ITA that you just need to do your kegals! And if you're bad at remembering to do them (like I am) then just stop the flow of pee a couple times each time you use the bathroom. I do it about ten times each time I pee and that means I do them at least 100 x a day!

love and peace.

mama to two girls and due in November!

For about 2 months after DD was born I would have to wear a pad when I went running because when I had to pee, it was an IMMEDIATE feeling and sometimes I'd dribble a bit (sorry TMI) before I could get to the bathroom. But that was only with the jarring of running, nothing else. After about 2 months and LOTS of Kegels, all was fine and I have had no issues at all since then

No problems except the week I had a horrible, uncontrollable, hacking cough.

I couldn't always cross my legs in time when I felt a cough coming on.

I'm 23 weeks into my second pregnancy, so I'm not sure if it counts, but I've never had any issues.
