I've had two boys and with both of them I got a positive results 5+ days before my period.

I have a suspicion that I may be pregnant again. Period was due yesterday, had light spotting and today it's gone.

I've taken two tests prior and one today and all negative??

So my question is....for those who have had girls, did you have to wait longer to get a positive result i.e. after your period?

Just curiouse

No. I have 2 boys and 3 girls and tested the earliest with #3 which was a girl.

the gender of the baby won't affect the test results.

The baby not the gender will make the difference in when you get a positive. That said, I was a week late before getting a positive with my girl, but I was early with my boy. I never spotted or anything with either one though.

Ok...I thought maybe the hormone levels wouldn't be as strong if it was a girl.

Thanks for your responses.
