I X-posted this in birth and beyond....but wanted to try hear too...

Has anyone ever heard of a increased risk of dairy allergies in baby, with drinking so much milk?

I can't drink ALL that milk anyways because of allergies...but I wanted to get in 2-3 glasses a day to try and follow it as close as possible but was wondering about allergies...dh had dairy allergies as a young child.

It is a extremely easy way to get the extra protein but what about those who can't drink milk....How do you get the extra protein??

TIA.

I didn't drink that much milk. I followed the diet somewhat but replaced milk with other protein. I had maybe 4-8 ounces per day. I ate yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, more greens, chicken etc.

Of my 5 children one had a diary intollerance the first 1.5 years of his life but I didn't drink any more milk during that pregnancy than the others.
