I've wanted a daughter named Eve for as long as I can remember. Before, in fact, that I realized that my Grandmother's name was Evelyn. (She always went by her middle name, Adeline.) SO... that's not up for change, nor is the last name... but the middle name is! Help me pick, and give me any suggestions you've got.

I LOVE the name Evelyn. I would choose Evelyn Jade. I'm not a huge fan of Jade but with Evelyn being 3 syllables I think it needs a one syllable middle name

Good luck deciding.

I just wanted to second the 3-syllable first name with a 1-syllable middle name--I just like the way that flows better.

And thats the way my name is (Rosalie Anne) so i am biased.

Out of the choices, I like Evelyn Morgan best.

When I saw the subject title, the first thing that sprang into my mind was Evelyn Rose!

That's just what I was thinking. I like the way a one syllable name sounds with it. What came to my mind was Evelyn Mae.

That's so funny! I thought Evelyn Rose too. Both beautiful old worldy names that go together so well.

Mama to 13, and 10 and 4.

Rose is what popped into my head, too! ITA about the one-syllable middle name with three-syllable first name.

On a completely different note, are there any family names that would work? I personally love family names as middle names, because of the meaning and the history behind them. Either last names or first names of family members who are important to you in some way.

I voted for Freedom. for some reason it just has a nice ring to it.

While I wasn't fond of Lyrica I do like justy plain Lyric. I also liked Morgan. And I have toi agree with evryone else that rose is nice.

The truest answer to violence is love. The truest answer to death is life. The only prevention for violence is for the heart to have no violence within it.  We cannot prevent evil through any system devised by mankind. But we can grapple with evil and defeat it, but only with love—real love.

My two grandmother's names are Evelyn and Rose.

My grandmother was here yesterday helping me sew diapers and we were talking about popular names for a girl...I told her Evelyn was coming back in style and she didn't believe me...I'll have to show her this page.

Anyway, out of the names listed I like Evelyn Morgan or Jade. I like Evelyn Sarah too, that just popped into my mind.

Rose is pretty, but it won't work for us. It's my MIL's maiden name, and FIL would be irrate! They had a horrible, messy divorce. But it is a beautiful suggestion!
