I got a positive opk on the 16th of this month. around the 22nd my breast started killing me, and EVERYTHING tastes salty. I have taken 5 tests in the past 3 days. 3 had VERY faint line. Am I too late to be getting faint lines? I feel like I should have full on brite lines by now.

if you can post a pic. Lots of us are masters at detecting a line.

A line is a line whether faint or not.

I wouldn't expect anything but faint/light lines at this point. Sounds good to me! (But do post! I'm a hopeless POASaddict)

I hope you get your +!

I'm about 7 weeks along right now. I tested early about 10 days after we did "the deed" (day 24 of my cycle, I guess) as a joke really, and was pretty surprised when the digital test showed a positive.

I took 5 more pregnancy tests daily, starting a week later, and the first 3 were REALLY faint (taken the first three days), and then the last two showed dark lines that showed up immediately.

So take heart, it can take time to get those hormone levels up enough to get clear results.

When I thought I was pregnant, I took 3 different tests and they all had such a faint line! I knew that it said that if there is any sort of line, no matter how light it is, that means you're pregnant. But they also say that if you wait too long, like after 10 min. or so, that the lines can get darker, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're pregnant. So, I was mystefied...

Then, I went to Planned Parenthood for a urine test there. I peed in the cup, waited - I was called into the room and the girl said, "So, you're not pregnant." And I was like, "Really? Are you absolutely sure?" And I told her the whole thing I went through, and it being so hard to tell - so she said, "Well, since you said that, let me just check again, one more time." So, when she gets back, she's like "I am soooooooooo sorry! You ARE pregnant." And she couldn't stop apologizing - she said it ruined her whole day that she told someone the wrong thing! And I was like, okay...... Well, I guess I'm pregnant? But that whole scenario really wasn't that reassuring! But, as it turns out, I was! I guess I just had a hunch anyway, despite all the confusion... It's just a funny thing to think about now...

So, you may very well be pregnant - those tests aren't always so crystal-clear for all of us!

I really REALLY felt like I was preg. Now, I'm just scared to believe it, ya know? I hate waiting, lol.

you may just have low HCG levels and a home pregnancy test does not pick them up that well. I would say just go into your local health department and get tested (although rumor has it, they just use home preg tests too...who knows) or make a drs appt and they can test accordingly. If they ALL have faint lines, then to me it sounds like you would be pregnant with just low HCG levels (providing you are testing according to the directions...ie not reading way later than you should...therefore seeing evap lines) Or maybe your eyes are playing tricks on your...hehe. I do not know. Like I said, if you do not want to wait it out and see what happens.....make a dr appt.

I dont know that if I am preg I will be going to a doctor at all. Plus I know that most offices do use hpts, so it would just be the same.

yeah I understand where you are coming from. I do not do the dr thing...but the advantage is that they can do bloodwork and tell you a little more. But I would just personally wait it out and see what happens.
Hope everything turns out the way you want it!

I'm so sorry. It's so hard when you want to be pg and month after month it doesn't happen.

It took my 11 months to conceive my first and this pg took me 6 months.
