I think Donovan Rhys sounds nice, especially with your last name.

DH and I personally are not going to use nicknames at all for our children. What happens when they start school, unfortunately I can't control. I don't like Pat or Patty at all either! Patrick is a family name for my DH and is important to him, hence why it is used for every name choice.

Thanks! Fortunately or unfortunately we are using Patrick somewhere in the name since it is a family tradition for DH.

Love the girl name!

I would yell the first and last names out loud. At some point you'll be yelling at your child and when you do you want to make sure it doesn't sound bad. I really like the name Quinn, just not with your last name.

Michelle: wife to J, mom to M (2001), E (2003), C (2005), S (2007) and O! (2009) And someone new in 2011!

Oddly enough, I am here to suggest Cullen as well. It is my son's name and I think it is uncommon without being weird.

We wanted an Irish/Gaelic name for our last son and had a list of them, but we finally settled on Caeden, means strength. I love it and it doesn't seem to be that common yet, I have seen a couple of Caden's but not spelled the gaelic spelling.

Ok. I still love the name. I've never cared much about where a name comes from so I tend to get name backgrounds mixed up.

I do like this name too! I tend to gravitate towards C names which I worry isn't ideal with a C last name.

I actually want something that isn't overused, yet not so off-the-wall that people will look at me with a 'what face' when I say my child's name.

I voted for Conor, but my favorite Irish boy's name is actually Kieran...that is what our baby would be named if she was going to be a boy. ^_^

My son's name is Ronin, but that's the Japanese spelling (we liked the Japanese meaning; rogue Samurai). But the Irish version is Ronan (means Little Seal).

I also love Quinn and wanted to name my Ella, Quinlyn
