Now maybe it's not huge movements...But I can definitely feel fluttering, right?

My husband absolutely doesn't believe me that I feel anything saying it's too early, but this is in fact my second pregnancy so I think I have more of a case than he does ;-)

He has this thing that if I feel my tummy and say, "I know I just felt the baby flutter!" he gasps, puts his hand on his tummy and exclaims, "Me too! I felt my baby move too! Feels just like gas!"

Sigh. Gotta love him though, right? When he teases me though, I usually tease him back but still...

What do you think?

Can I feel the baby flutter this early on?

Also, I know what gas feels like...Too much information but I am probably one of the gassiest people ever...So I know what gas feels like and what usually follows it!

Absolutely! I felt occasional fluttering before 14 weeks. It kept growing stronger until at 16 weeks I knew beyond doubt that's what it was. Funny why your husband would be so opinionated about it. Why would he tease you about something he has no idea about? Not to be disrespectful of your husband.

Heck yeah it's possible to feel it at 14 weeks.

I felt it at 14 weeks with my *first* and at 12 weeks with my second.

I think I've felt a flutter twice now too...

I'm feeling a little annoyed with my DH right now so that's probably why I'm saying this but... I HATE when DH thinks he knows something about me... but he's wrong and I'm right!

Absolutely! I felt my first two at 12 weeks and my third at around 13-14 weeks.
My OB didn't even comment when I told her that with my first, I was surprised! I expected her to doubt me but she didn't.

Well, he IS oldest of 12 children...So he thinks he's more experienced in some ways. BUT I talked with his mom and she absolutely believes me...So haha to DH!

Oh yeah, I felt it earlier than that and posted wonering if I was nuts

Personally, I'd tell my Dh where he could stick it, cause he's NEVER been pregnant and NEVER gonna be pregnant, so how is he supposed to know? I'd be super-pissed if he doubted, kwim?

this is my sixthe pregnancy, and my 5th baby and i never felt the others before 19 weeks, even when i was super skinny. with this one though, i started feeling him at 13 weeks. i could feel him through my uterus at 20 weeks (like, touch him). this preg has been problematic too so when i had bleeding at 17 weeks it gave me hope when i could feel him kicking away.

Feeling movement by 14 weeks would be perfectly normal for a second baby.
