I bought some neem oil this morning at a local health food store. They told me it would do wonders for my excema. I've used it twice today. I decided to look it up online & I can't tell if it is ok to use during pregnancy. Does anyone know the answer? Please help. I'm getting myself so worked up.

Is it oil, soap, or lotion? From my understanding the soap and lotion are safe topically. You don't want to take Neem internally though. I'm not sure about the oil. I am currently using the soap and lotion because I broke out in a terrible rash all over my legs and arms. It really is helping to soothe the rash.

I don't see why it wouldn't be okay. Neem is very healing and nurturing.
I use it- I have a massage bar with neem as a main ingredient.

Is it just pure neem oil? I personally, wouldn't use it if it is concentrated oil because it is a bio-pesticide and that can cause reproductive harm.

Neem oil is great for eczema though but I would use something else for now if it is pure neem oil. Especially since it is known to prevent pregnancy.

Packed with the antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antihistamine, antiseptic, spermicidal and immune-system stimulating components nimbin and nimbidin, neem is said to do everything from repelling insects to preventing pregnancy. India's neem tree is practically a first-aid kit in itself.
read the rest of the source here.

Here's another link that mentions neem as an abortifacient.
