Before pregnancy, I didn't eat very much meat (and not red meat or game). However, I haven't been able to stomach any at all during my pregnancy. Any time that I would try it I woulg get really sick. For protein, I have just been eating nuts and organic eggs. I'm actually glad that I am not eating meat, because my dh wouldn't be crazy about buying hormone/antibiotic-free meat all of the time, and I just don't want that stuff in my system while pregnant. I've never been really into meat. I only started eating it again gradually after 10 years as a vegitarian, and I would be perfectly fine with never eating it again.
