i have struggled with a cold for a week now, but it has moved into my chest, causing coughing and a bit of trouble breathing, is there anything that is pg and nursing safe that i can take.

I am really concerned to get this resolved before it turns to bronchitis, as i have no insurance.

I actually had bronchitius when I was about 19-20 weeks along. It was NO fun.

My OB told me it was ok to take tylenol for fever, and robotussin, and she also put me on an antibiotic. Your OB may feel different. I'm pretty sure if you just call your Dr or OB, and ask, they will let you know what is safe. Also you may want to go to like, walgreens or CVS and ask the pharmacist.

I have taken Benedryl, Sudaphed, and over the counter Claritin for various cold symptoms. But when I had an actual sinus infection my OB had to put me on an antibiotic to kick it.

Hope you feel better soon!
