Okay I am at peace with the fact that some people love Jude for a girl and some solidly think it is a boy name. I love it for a girl, and I know that she will know she doesn't have a boy name just b/c we wanted a boy. She will always know we had a different name picked out for a boy, and that her daddy always wanted three little girls.

What is up for discussion here is I need a feminine name for a middle name.

Here are the names of our daughters.

Jewely Lynne Chenoah
Josephine Elizabeth Marie

I got vetoed out of Jemima and Mabel. I always liked Imogen and Ophelia but they won't work. So suggestions, our last name is Smith.

Courtney and Cree, baby made 3, added one more then there were 4, sakes alive, then we had 5, another in the mix now we have 6!

A Momma in love with her Little Women-Jewel Face, Jo Jo Bean, June Bug, and Sweet Coraline.

Personally I think with Jude the names that start with vowels sound better and because both her first and last name will be one syllable I'd pick something multi-syllabic for a middle. Are you going to do two middle names for her too? That will factor in.

I like Jude Imogen and Jude Ophelia! Do they just not work with your last name?

What about Jude Amelie, Jude Ona, Jude Ivy...

I really like Jude Emily. There is also Jude Neila that popped into my head as well as Jude Hayley. I think that names that start with an H would sound good. Maybe Holly, Hope, Hadley, etc

Single mom to E (2004) and D (2010)

Thank you, these are actually conservative for what I liked. I wanted Jewely to be named Chenoah, DH won, having wanted Jewely for longer then I had wanted Chenoah.

I am liking some of these a lot.
Jude Annaliese had actually been on my list.

I like Jude Carolina. (my dd's good friend is named Carolina, pronounced the way you described. It is one of the names she suggested.)

Jude Isabella is nice, but isabella is my niece's name.
like
Jude Olivia
Jude Louisa
Jude Amelia

what about Jude Zo Louise.
I read this book when i was a kid, there were two girls, one from the 1800's and one from the present. Zoe was nin the present, her mom got her name off a gravestone that was crumbled so you couldn't read what the rest of it said. Well she went through a door and traveled back in time and met Zoe Louise. Now I didn't know anything about french pronunciation and figured if Joe is Jo then zoe was Zo, and just loved Zo Louise. I know it isn't a REAL name, but all the same I always thought it was pretty.

Courtney and Cree, baby made 3, added one more then there were 4, sakes alive, then we had 5, another in the mix now we have 6!

A Momma in love with her Little Women-Jewel Face, Jo Jo Bean, June Bug, and Sweet Coraline.

This is so horrible. My dumb sister said when I liked the name Ophelia (have since I was 15) for one of my daughters "Ophelia- Oh-Feel -Ya"

I can't move past it. I know so middle schoolish, but I just can't, she also ruined another name I really liked Johna.
