Just wondering if anyone has considered a preschooler forum to the ages and stages...not quite toddlers...not quite big kids. Thanks!

It has been considered. We have been doing some organizing and we will probably address that in the coming weeks.

Oh I would love that! I've recently been thinking that he doesn't really fit in with the young toddlers in the toddler section, but he's not yet to school years. He's definitely a preschooler!

Kat, wife to and mommy to (Dec 07).

Oh yes yes yes! Totally agree! Can't wait! The toddler forum is becoming less and less relevant for us, but the next age up forum ain't it either...

I would love a preschool forum! My dd is not a toddler and not a big kid. It would be the perfect fit. Kids this age have unique issues and a separate forum would be great!

Marissa - Wife to Keith 6/28/03 and Mommy to Sienna 3/17/06 and Carter 5/10/08 born on his due date!
I love being a SAHM!  EPed with dd.  Breastfed for 2 years with ds.

Another vote here! My nearly three year old doesn't fit into Toddlers anymore, and when I started reading the Childhood forum, I realized, my issues don't fit there for a few more years really.

Formerly single Mama to the zaniest boy on the block, born on my birthday on 3/28/07. Soon to be Mama to a new little and can't wait to bfinfant.gif and femalesling.GIF and familybed1.gif again!

Me too! My April 07 DS seems too old for the toddler forum right now, but not quite old enough for the childhood years.

Any news or thoughts on this possibility?

I still think it is a wonderful idea. I'm not fitting into the Toddler forum or the Childhood Years forum currently and would love a suitable place to "hang out."

Yay!

It's definitely needed. Lots of the same sorts of posts about preschoolers end up in both Toddlers and The Childhood Years.

: And where else would you post questions about an almost 4yo?? It's not like she's a toddler, and she's certainly not a baby or a teen.
