Hi, Amy! I'm sorry you're having to deal with the cursor issue. This is a known glitch in Firefox. To help with this, we now offer the option to use a BB Code editor, which I hope will help fix the problem.

I have retired from administration work, so if you have a question about anything MDC-related, please contact Cynthia Mosher. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this. I'm having the same issues, which make posting and replying essentially impossible.

Have you tried switching over to the BB Code editor? It is easier to use with firefox and you can use :code for the smiles with it or at least I can.

Olivia, right now we offer the BB Code and Rich Text (WYSIWYG) editors. If you click the Source button in Rich Text mode, you can see and manipulate the HTML though.

I have retired from administration work, so if you have a question about anything MDC-related, please contact Cynthia Mosher. Thanks!

It looks like the OP removed her post so I'm not sure this is an issue anymore for her. We do know the cursor issue is a bug with Firefox and the rich text editor we use called CK editor. We've been working on this, but it's been a tricky one to nail down. If this continues to be a problem, I would recommend trying out the BB Code Editor which is a preference in your Account Details.
