Social media has been a very powerful tool to get the message of Mothering out to our Twitter and Facebook followers and fans, Our policy has been to feature threads on Mothering's social media that were started by staff and we continue to do that.

Starting this month we want to utilize our social media power even more to spread Mothering's message and community value. To do so we will begin featuring some threads started by members. We will place only those that are general in nature, that are not about personal issues. For example, if a member starts a thread about "What's the book pregnancy and birthing book you've read? or ""What is your favorite dressy occasion sling" we might feature such threads. But something like "My MIL is creating problems" is a topic we'd definitely not place.

We hope this proves to be valuable in spreading the word of Mothering, natural family living and attachment parenting. thumb.gif

that sounds great and i think it will get the word out there because there are always moms out there feeling like they are operating in a vacuum.  i know that is how i felt before i found mothering.
