Did you actually find vegetables in Mongolia? After my sister got back, she saw an ad for the Mongolian Buffet and called them to ask what kind of food they served. They told her they served vegetables and she said, vegetables! They have no vegetables in Mongolia!!!

She'll be impressed that you found the vegetables.
What in the world is marmot?

Yup, some vegetables, but not much since hardly anything will grow there...

They also drink fermented mare's milk... :Puke

Hehe, this thread is hilarious. I laughed out loud!
But now I have a strange desire to visit outer mongolia...

TiredX2, I can answer your Diva Cup question. I used it every day for three months (yup, was having a period the whole time) I think I've become a semi-expert on it's usage.

What's this with all the crap talk? MDC even has a 'crap' smiley! which I think perfectly illustrates the emotion behind the phrase, "aw crap". I've just been waiting for an opportunity to use it, because I think it's cute.

I'm so glad we're still here this morning - how relaxing! I really do need to spend some more time here!

Lala turned me on to hemp. I've had the same pads for 3-4 years and they're still wonderful!

I beleive only last redirect is left when the thread is moved. I don't see any of the old ones, so I'm assuming that to be the case.

Where will the carpet land next?

Hey, glad we are here. What a perfect place today since I have AF and just bought new pads yesterday! I bought the Motherof Eden pads. They really are just like mama Fuzzi Bunz. I love having the fleece against my special skin. :LOL I was having major keeper issues but that is another story.

This reminds me of a story.

I was at a friends house when her new flannel pads arrived. We were going on and on about how soft and pretty they were - not taking any notice to her poor husband. So he blerts out "they're so soft and and beautiful. They make me want to mestrate EVERY DAY!" :LOL

I agree, I like something special on my special skin!

We're supposed to leave a redirect when we move this thread???...I mean, um, who ever moved this thread should redirect.

Ms Mom, marmot is an animal, marmite isn't.

the fun of not leaving a redirect is that we have to go searching for it, it's kinda like meeting the neighbors who live behind you, and you never see - well now you get to walk around the block and see what they are up to (for me, anyway, since I don't wander around much!) Plus, then it's kind of a game to see who can find it first.

I use hemp fleece and I would think they'd be GREAT after birth! Wish I had them back then. They have a little pocket that would be PERFECT for an ice pack (just ware them upside down so it dosn't fall out).

I find them SUPER absorbant. I've never had them leak - even at night.

So who sing that song "you don't know what, you may find, why don't you come with me little girl, on a magic carpet ride". Cuz that's stuck in my head now!

Thanks Foster! They might not look yummy but I am told they make a wonderful alternative to mutton.

Unless you are a vegetarian of course and then you can eat the dried yak cheese and fermented mare's milk. Vegans can eat the turnips I guess?

For those of you interested in visiting Outer Mongolia, I can also tell you that it is helpful to speak Russian if you don't speak Mongolian. Also that horseback is a popular way to travel, but you can't really rent them, you have to buy one and then sell it when you reach your destination.

I don't think they eat the horses.

The cheese and milk don't sound too bad to me? I love Keifer, drink it every day! (well, mine is in shock right now becuse I neglected it , but I will drink it again when it 'perks up').

Dried cheese? Just sounds like a hard cheese to me - Mmmm, maybe some turnip pizza?

Wow, we've hung out here most of today! I actually cleaned my house! Maybe it's time to take a ride.......

Me too! In fact, I've just been opening the thread from my CP, then I have to scroll to the top to find out what forum I'm in. I felt like a big cheater when I found out everyone else was out there "searching" for it. :

I opened this thread because I was just so *confused* as to why this thread was here in GD, I had seen it in TAO, but I couldn' t imagine what could have possibly happened in the thread to warrant sending it to GD......
