well, here on the other side- I am sure many of you have heard my (sort of sad) tale. Went to 43 weeks and got a c section. My body just never went into labor and by 43 weeks my embryonic fliuid was all but gone and placenta was very not well. Baby is great though. I think my situation was cause I had no support past 41 weeks so didn't feel safe to birth. I think in the future what I have learned is that I would go super late if I were being monitered and if I had a good support team. As it was I felt at the time that if I didn't get the c section at 43 weeks once I finally did get the NST that my baby would have been in real danger.
I had thought my body would just go naturally but it didn't which shocked the heck out of me!
Just to say- I was wicked surprised by how it all worked out but also my super late was really super late. So who knows.

40+2 today, saw my midwife. we agreed on no stripping membranes this weekend, but I'll get acupuncture on Monday at 41 weeks, and a BPP/NST the day after if needed (I don't think so!). I can live with that......and hope for an Easter baby.
