I am preparing to write a letter to my insurance asking for an exception due to unreasonable distance. I have SeeChange insurance through CIGNA and then eba&m which will cover part of the deductible but only for in-network. According to the seechange website there is only one contracted midwife within 25 miles. She is about 20 miles away but the actual travel time is 45 minutes and thats on windy mountain roads. Has anyone had experience getting an exception for distance issues?
