Mamas, I am currently living in PA and pregnant with my second (7 weeks). I am utilizing the Birth Center in Bryn Mawr as I have terrible hyperemesis gravidarum AGAIN, and need prescription Zofran and IV fluids. I really want to have a homebirth this time!!! Do you know or have experience leaving your care providers for a homebirth? How did you do this without burning bridges? I probably would stay with the Birth Center until 20 weeks when I start to get better. Thoughts? I am terribly anxious as I would go back to the Birth Center for GYN care after the baby, but don't want to be scorned.

If anyone can tell me a different thread to post this to, I will.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! So sorry to hear to your hyperemesis gravidarum; I had it too and it's really tough. Hang in there Mama! I'm going to move your thread over to the Homebirth forum as it's better hosted there and you are more likely to get more responses there.

PS If you haven't already, join your due date club; it's so wonderful to get support from other mamas due at the same time as you.
