What do you do for a minor tear? I tore slightly right next to my clitoris, and the midwives didn't notice it (they were checking lower for tears). The first few days I used a comfrey compress in my pads for relief, but now it's to that itchy healing stage (No! Do NOT scratch it! lol) so I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to help the healing process (and I'm out of comfrey).

I had one inner labial split. It was fairly long, but not at all deep. My midwife gave me the option of stitches or no stitches. I opted for none.

The day after, it hardly hurt at all. But then the next day, it burned like heck every time I peed. My midwife recommended Bach's Rescue Cream. I was amazed at how much better it felt!

Yes!! The burning is the worst part! I have never dreaded going to the bathroom before... ugh. Thanks for the heads-up about the cream, I'll have to try it!

try squirting some water on it when you pee, or leaning forward so the stream changes a bit.

owie!
