Okay everyone! I wrote last week about my midwife saga and how I had gone from a homebirth to a CNM and then they wanted me to go all out and have a hospital birth! No thank you!! So I called my specialist also an OB and she is seeing me on Thursday, I know with my condition babies tend to be breech 37% of the time, so I want a back-up if needed. But I can’t tell her I am having a homebirth unassisted- hee hee!! So DH is a bit nutzo these days about me going to this doc. He says that they are going to want to use dopplers (we don’t use them) and they will want an u/s (we haven’t had one). I told him we can say no to anything, and I need him there to advocate for me. He is stomping his feet! So anyway, I am totally with him on the homebirth wagon, and feel that I can birth without any problem. I am very happy that my specialist will see me so late (36 weeks), because I would like to have someone I know help me if I have a breech. I mean I get it together with a doctor or I end up with a resident. Not to mention this new doc is 5 min form my house and the old one was 45 min. But I just plan on staying home and birthing natural and then getting into bed with my new baby! No crap from the medical industry. Send me some good vibes!!
