I'm happy to say I had my VBA2C! I gave birth to an 8lb 13oz baby boy at 11:19am on January 7th, 2009.

It was SO not ideal but perfect in its own way...and NOT a c-section so in the end what I wanted.

There was an epidural, episiotomy and it took forceps to get him out and for all that it was easier than a c-section!

I'm working on getting the whole story written down and will post it.

I just want to thank everyone here who offered support and advice along the way...and to those of you who have shared your stories...reading the stories of other women was very helpful to me along the way.

Congratulations! I had a less-then-ideal vba2c in 2006, so I know how that is But I will never forget that moment when I got to hold my baby, all fresh-from-the-womb : What a great moment!

Have a wonderful and restful recovery, enjoying your new baby!

Midwifery Student and Mama to 2 daughters and 3 sons.
ribboncesarean.gif vbac.gifhomebirth.jpg I have given birth a variety of ways and I am thankful for what each one has taught me.
