I am compiling a book of positive VBAC stories to help encourage women who are planning VBAC's. If you would be interested in having your birth story included, please PM for more info :)
I had an awesome VBAC in Feb. 2011. One of the main things that helped me mentally prepare for my birth was reading positive VBAC stories. Unfortunately, it seemed like every source I turned to for encouragement seemed to include at least one scary or sad story. One stuck in my mind so clearly that it came back to me during my labor. For one brief moment, I had a very real fear that I would not be delivering a live baby.
Everyone knows that *things* happen. You just have to prepare and plan the best you can and be at peace with knowing you did your absolute best.
It's so important for women who have had successful VBAC's to share their stories. Mothers preparing to have their first VBAC need to surround themselves with positive stories. They need the encouragement of women who have already taken their VBAC journey and finished victorious.
This book will be a safe zone of inspiration and positive energy for women as they prepare for their birth :)
