Thanks in advance!
So glad I saw this post on my first visit here! I am familiar with Dr. Haddad - he is actually the doctor who oversees the midwives group that I used. Their office is right downstairs from his. I had the BEST experience with the midwives. I switched to them in my 9th month because my previous doctor (not Dr. Haddad) was flaking out on me regarding giving me my VBAC which he promised me. If not for being with these midwives, I would have had a repeat C, for sure (I ended up being induced 2 weeks overdue - and with any other doctor I've been with, they all said that induction for vbac=automatic C.)
So I don't have experience with a vba3c, but I do know that they are VERY pro giving women their best chance at a vbac. If he promises to help her out, that's great. I'm just giving you the info that there is an excellent midwife group right downstairs from his office, also deliver at Montclair, who are amazing (http://www.childbirthcenter.net/index.php/en/). They do use Dr. Haddad as their doctor-on-call in the case of an emergency, or a necessary c-section, and they do ask his advice from time to time. But I do wonder which would be the best bet in ensuring a successful vbac? I'd recommend contacting Lonnie Morris (the midwife) and scheduling a free visit where she can ask all her questions.
Good luck, please let me know if this was helpful, and I'd be glad to answer any other questions.
