Possible vbac???

I am really interested in attempting a vbac but have had 4 c-sections. Does anybody know if this would be possible? My doctor is totally against it and will not even consider it. (Not too sure I like her anyways as she keeps pushing the idea for me to have my tubes tied or some other form of contraceptive. My husband and I always wanted a large family and practice NFP.) By the time I am ready to deliver it will have been just shy of 2 years since by daughter was born. Just curious if any one has had a vbac after so many c-sections.

I imagine it would be very hard to find a supportive OB b/c ACOG recommends against it. I get that OBs find repeat c/s more difficult on a very scarred uterus (such as after 4 c/s) and thus don't recommend having lots of kids, but pushing sterilization (rather than just presenting the facts) rubs me the wrong way. May be a good reason to find a new OB but unfortunately probably they still wouldn't be supportive of VBA4C... Hopefully some mamas here will have more help to offer!
