Right now (12:30 pm EST) my contractions seem to have gotten more frequent, but not as strong. We're running about every 2 mins and approximately 40 seconds long. Medium intensity.
My midwife had to get detoured because all the bridges were washed out. She has a 1 1/2 hour drive on a good day, now she is going to be quite a bit longer. Hope she makes it in time!!! (I think she will because my babies don't tend to just fall out).
love you all, be back when I can.

I am really happy for you. I hope and pray that you have your baby in your arms. If you were 8 cm last night, you were not very far from holding your little one!
Hoping you are having a nice and relaxing time right now relishing in the fact that you are WOMYN!

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Let me start by saying that each of you has encouraged me--big time! Thank you for your support.
I did end up transferring to the hospital after pushing at home for a couple of hours. As you know, the baby was posterior all along and I was getting really exhausted and out of control after days of prodromal labor and a really long "regular" labor. Things got a little hairy at the hospital, but in the end I had another VBAC baby and am very grateful for that.
She ended up not turning at all and came out sunny-side up.
I will try to post the complete birth story in the next couple of days.
Thanks for the love which helped me get through a very difficult pregnancy and delivery.
In case you're wondering--I'm home and baby is home and no, we haven't named her yet!
Enjoy your babymoon
