Did you go past your edd with your vbac baby? My mw says all her vbacs go over. I am sure I will and I am fully prepared but I cant help but have a teeny little hope that I'll go just a few days before. lol DD went to 42 weeks, so I have btdt.

(And yes I am full aware that 40w is an estimate, not an expiration date etc )

He was born 3 days before his due date. However my dd was a 35 weeker so maybe that was "late" for me.

Both my failed induction, c/s baby and my non-induced, med free VBAC baby were born at 40w3d. My VBAC labor was 35 hours and my failed induction was 38 hours.

My mw also mentioned most of her VBACs going past EDD, which really helped me relax about the whole issue 2:

my VBAC baby was born 2 weeks after my LMP due date and 1 week past my early US due date. Even now he doesn't get in a hurry for anything

my thought about vbac going over is, i think, a large portion of vbacs are second babies - meaning the c-section was a first birth. so, if your body has never experienced labor and birth with your first baby, when you attempt a vbac it will be like a first time birth. a lot of first births go over the due date and tend to be longer in duration than subsequent labor and deliveries.

YES. I was over 42 weeks with my VBAC. I believe that is what caused me to not have a successful vbac (subject to interventions after 42 weeks, etc.)

WIth my first I was at 40 weeks exactly -- went into labor naturally.

Well, there wasn't an option for both! So I selected that I went past due because that's what happened with my most recent HBAC. The baby was born 16 days after my EDD. My previous birth was a hopsital VBAC and she was born 4 days before her EDD.

7 days past ~ membranes ruptured but no labor, cntrx came and went each night and on day 10 past I gave birth. The universe was teaching me patience and still is! We named her Winter and it is so fitting as her pregnancy and birth was a time of going deep into my roots and tapping the innate strength that was there.

Slightly "late" - depending on which date you used, it was either three days late by the magic wheel or one day late based on ovulation.

I recently changed my username, but I still say "Hello" to all those who know me in real life! Hi P, S, T and K!

42 weeks 1 day with my first

40 weeks 2 days with my HBAC

I thought for sure he'd be late, just not as late as his older brother...and he was right on time!
