I'm now 1 month PP from birth of 4th dc. I'm not sure if my memory is fuzzy or ? so asking you mamas these questions

So, first, I had a tear and did not get it sewn up--would have been a 2nd degree I think, about an inch, downward. This is my 2nd tear--with dc #2 I got about 40 stitches there--and it tore the about same place/length. With #2 I got it sutured and it seemed like it was more healed by now--it's healed "closed" (the tear, not my hooha!) but there's a thick firm band of healing tissue there (not scar tissue that would stay I assume!). Should I/would you do anything to help minimize that "big bump" there or not until later? I haven't felt it too extensively because I'm a bit paranoid about traumatizing it since it wasn't sewn up. Does it take longer to heal without being repaired? How much longer? I have my PP checkup in a few weeks obviously and I could call the midwife, but I'm looking more for "yeah, mine did that and I did this" type info--since most tears are sewn up, I'm hoping a couple mamas here didn't get theirs sewn and can enlighten me.

And I've gotta be honest here, I'm ready to resume DTD anytime my body is ready...but I don't want to rush it and re-tear or weaken the pelvic floor muscles, KWIM? I'll definitely wait until after my PP checkup (I think)...but wondering how much longer it will be. (of course, also, dh has his appt today to schedule a vasectomy--we're done--so I'm debating waiting until he's "safe" after that just to be 100% sure...but I really don't want to wait ) I don't honestly remember how long we waited with #2 after that sewn tear--I think just until after my PP check when it was declared "healed" but again memory might be fuzzy...

Also, with all 3 previous, even with EBF round the clock I got my period back at 6 weeks (and fertility with it--I got pregnant on my 2nd PP cycle after #2). I thought I remembered that I stopped PP bleeding by 3 weeks or so but maybe I remember wrong? I'm still having some (though not much) PP bleeding--and this morning it's looking (and feeling, come to think of it--I've felt crampy the last few days without really realizing it) rather like a period. Is that possible (both the bleeding still and the period already)? If so, is it likely that my period will "clean out" any remaining "leftover stuff" and I'll be done with PP bleeding after this?

Thanks for any advice, etc.
