I gave birth yesterday and just pooped for the 1st time. I went to wipe after and it felt like 1/2 my insides were hanging out! Everything went back into place after I got up....is this a prolapse? I'll ask at my nurse home visit tomorrow.

At one day postpartum I wouldn't be surprised if we all are hanging out from our nether regions! Your vagina is stretched out, it will go back. When you squat over a toilet everything will sort of hang out because of the position of your pelvis.

The first time I dared to feel my perineum after my first vaginal birth it felt like there was a giant turkey waddle hanging out of there. It went away.
