Does anyone know if it is still possible/safe to home birth if you have been exposed to Chicken Pox once you reach 37 weeks.
DS2's preschool had a child in attendance on 4/14 (which also happened to be a major family event for the day with parents and younger siblings there). We found out on 4/19 that everyone there had been exposed. (DS2 also figured out which girl it was, so it was someone in his class/time.) I would have been 35+6 weeks then.
We just noticed, within the last hour, that DD2 has a rash starting to form on her belly, and it is red spots that appear to be forming pimples in the middle of them. They were not there earlier when we changed her pullup/diaper. They are between the top of that and just above her belly button. We also noticed 3 spots on her upper chest as well.
Right now, I am, going by LMP 37 weeks 2 days; and going by US, I am 39 weeks 5 days. We are planning a home birth, but do have OB backup.
