So DH is resistant to the idea of hiring a doula for this birth, and I'd like to give him an article or two to read about the role of a doula and why it's a good idea. Any recommendations? Thanks mamas!
the DONA website has an article about Dad's and Doulas.http://www.dona.org/PDF/DadsandDoulas.pdf
As a doula, I emphasize that in no way is my job to take away from the partners job. Really, a good doula will allow the partner to help the mother better than he thought he could- moving his hands into the right place, suggesting positions, etc.
Homeschooling Mama to DD and one .
TTC #2. Hoping to !
