Started natural until 7mm when things stopped progressing, then my plan of a natural drug free birth became all the drugs and a c section. Boo.

1st and 2nd stages totally natural, but long. 3rd stage, the placenta wouldn't detach and we ended up in hospital (after a home birth) with an epidural to have it manually removed.

Expat mama to my 7-year-old Halloween boy and my cheeky preschooler, who came before the midwife in January 2010... Gestating a new bean, debuting spring 2014!

I voted IV, but really, it hardly counts as they put it in as I was asking them to check me again and when they did check me I was at 10cm, so yeah smile.gif I did have monitoring too, but it didn't bother me as I wanted to labor lying on my side on the bed anyway.
