I had ds 6 months ago. There was a full moon the night I was in labor (well, one of the nights), and every full moon since then I start feeling like I'm getting contractions again. Not full-on contractions, but that feeling like "time to get into position to ride this next one out" beginning to have a contraction feeling.

Am I a nut? I haven't started my period yet, so it's not PMS cramps. :

well, you are a nut, but not because of this.

I had similar feelings for a couple weeks after B's birth.

Interesting, though. Is it usually when you're sleeping that you get these feelings or even while you're awake?

Even when I'm awake! Actually, it took me a while to make the connection. It's not like I look out the window, see a full moon, then start feeling crampy. It's the other way around. I start feeling like I'm going into labor and then realize it's a full moon again. I suppose it's all psychosomatic. But every month I think, "Oh crap. My period's back. : " (I'm also moody at this time.) But then it goes away by the next day.

I get something similar to this but it's associated with my period. After having my first (and it still happens now after my second), I get a feeling of pressure like the baby's head is coming down. It really feels the same as when I was pushing, but much more mild (doesn't hurt or anything). I think it's due to me needing to do more kegels.

Mama to four remarkable kiddos, all born at home.
